Two pupils of the school, Vivian Osuiniyi and Bithia Itulua, died after falling sick in the school caused by unhygienic food. A total of 1,222 pupils were said to have come down with abdominal pain, fever, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Following the incident, Dr. Amodu was redeployed and replaced by Mrs. Bola Are.
Report says no fewer than fifteen pupils of the school are currently on admission at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba, for diarrhoea after eating spaghetti and drank water found to be contaminated.
They (the parents) have reportedly called on the Federal Government to recall Dr Amodu, to face criminal charges for negligence and the death of two pupils of the school.
