A lady romantically linked with Coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, may have caused rift between the Franco-German and his employer, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

As per The Guardian, Rohr drew the ire of NFF following a Facebook post by a lady believed to be in a steamy relationship with the gaffer on the eve of the match with Algeria, calling on the football body to pay her hubby his outstanding four months salary.

Report said the post that was accompanied by the picture of the lovers infuriated members of the NFF with some of them mooting the idea of sacking the coach.

However, the federation has revealed that it is not mulling sacking the coach following the team’s 1-2 defeat by Algeria in the semifinal of the on-going African Cup of Nations.
