Oyo Gov. nominates 27-year-old as commissioner

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has nominated a 27-year-old graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Seun Fakorede, as a commissioner.

Fakorede, who hails from Idere area of the state, bagged a civil engineering degree from the OAU in 2016 and formerly worked with the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation.

His nomination was confirmed by the Speaker of Oyo House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, via a Facebook post on Monday.

“Let’s clear the  air, the Oyo State House of Assembly has received the name of the 27-year-old Seun Fakorede of Ibarapaland as commissioner-nominee from the Oyo State government led by Governor Seyi Makinde,” Ogundoyin wrote.
