The investigation into the accusation of sexual abuse 16-year-old Barakat Melojuekun threw at suspended Ogun State Commissioner for Environment, Abiodun Abudu-Balogun, has been completed.
This was according to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi in an interview he granted Punchng.com.
“We have completed our investigation, the report and case file is ready. We want to forward the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice,” Oyeyemi told the paper.
Recall that Miss Melojeuekun, a Senior Secondary School Student in the final class, SS3, had in a viral interview on camera alleged Abudu-Balogun of luring her into his residence and she had to fight off attempt by him to forcefully have carnal knowledge of her, and also making ritual slur against the commissioner.
The allegation drew him backlash, leading to his suspension by Gov. Dapo Abiodun with the police launching investigation into the matter.
