Lukman Oduola holds a key position in oil giant Shell Nigeria’s office in Lagos Island and most times he is outside Lagos working.

Though the world was at his feet, the Ibadan-born oil-man was not pleased about his health. He also wanted to be very dear to four of his superiors in Shell.

Apart from the fact that he has a mistress who bore him a child, and keeps the relationship back from his wife, his alleged battle with staphylococcus and that of endearing himself to his superiors, Jerry Jackson, Don Sabatini, Pleaf, and Dominic Ebere were uppermost in his mind.

An educated man and a Jehovah Witness, Mr. Odutola sought medical assistance and worked on his soft skills. He also prayed for sound health and his bosses’ favour.

However, he did the unthinkable when he decided to approach an herbalist simply identified as Ewe, and pulled apart the curtains to reveal what was happening on the back stage of his life in the year 2000.

Investigation revealed that Ewe was a controversial businessman. And as soon as he got to know from Mr. Odutola that his monthly salary was N3.5m, and that he (Odutola) once gave his wife N50m to open a boutique around Lekki where they live, Ewe turned him into his lunch box.

Orijoreporter was told that somehow the Shell big boy won the war on staphylococcus through Ewe and they became very close. In time, Mr. Odutola confided all his secrets and worries to his supposed friend and ‘spiritual father’.

And sometime in 2008, he told him about his workplace and his overwhelming desire to have a yummy relationship with his bosses. He also wrote down their names and handed it over to him.

But that was Odutola’s greatest undoing. All along, Ewe had gotten several monies to the tune of N12m from Odutola in the name of enrolling him (Odutola) in one cult group or the other. And it got to a point that the Shell big boy saw the whole things as a sham and was not ready to part with any money.

He also wanted to cut off from his ‘spiritual father’, but the latter would not hear of it. Instead, Ewe was continuously telling him that phantom cult leaders were asking him (Odutola) for certain amounts.

Sources said that recently Odutola, who found himself snared in Ewe’s web of intrigues walked into Area A Police Command popularly called Lion Building in Lagos Island to report Ewe, and ask for his arrest.

However, the story took another twist when Ewe was arrested. In his written statement, which was allegedly backed with documentary evidence he alleged that Odutola asked him to kill his bosses, Jerry Jackson, Don Sabatini, Pleaf and Dominic Ebere.

When our reporter called Ewe on his mobile phone to get his side of the story, he declined but declared that the matter has been resolved. However, efforts to get Odutola were futile as he refused to pick his phone or respond to text message sent to his mobile phone.
