The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 23- year-old lady, Omolara Oluwagbemi, for allegedly stabbing her fiance, Sodiq Dauda, to death.

Omolara and her victim, Sodiq’s wedding was slated for December but the wedding plan went up in smoke on Tuesday October 18, 2016 when during a fight the former stabbed the latter to death with kitchen knife at 10, Onirugba Street, Ijebu Ode.

It was said that the lovers feuded over a gas business to the point that Omolara moved out of their apartment. The deceased accused the suspect of not rendering a proper account of the business he entrusted to her.

Their fight turned fierce last Tuesday when at the instance of Sodiq’s mother who tried to broker peace between the warring live-lovers, Omolara returned home.

It was said that the deceased snapped and while beating up the suspect, she ran into the kitchen and took a knife with which she stabbed Sodiq in the chest.

Late Sodiq who reports said was rushed to General Hospital, Ijebu Ode, and died the next day from injuries he sustained during the knife attack.
