The meeting between the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Federal Government ended in a deadlock, as per report.
The NLC had earlier embarked on a two-day warning strike scheduling the commencement of an indefinite industrial action for September 22.
The ground for it, according to the labour leaders is purported “anti-poor” policies propagated by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.
The resolution remains elusive as the Monday’s meeting initiated by Minister of Labour, Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, ended in deadlock.
However, another meeting between government representatives and the union leaders has been scheduled.
In a related development, Lalong is billed to meet with the representatives of the Trade Union Congress led by its national president, Festus Osifo, later Today.
