Students pay tributes to colleague, who died in road accident

On Sunday, President of the National Association of Science Students, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Comrade Adefuwa Christopher met his untimely death in a ghastly auto crash along Ile-Ife road, Osun State when returning to school from an excursion to the Idanre Hills in Akure, Ondo State.

Comrade Christopher was the only one whose life was lost in the accident. The accident involved a bus, the deceased and about 21 other students boarded and a trailer.

Many colleagues of the deceased, who was in his final year, and had few days to graduate, have taken to Facebook to pay their respects.

Below are some of their emotional tributes:

Ajayi Seyi posted, “I can’t believe after greeting you the other day, would be the last
time…I still can’t believe the last time I joked with you that you couldn’t even write good codes when you said you want to help me out with my job project a little in class… I never knew you won’t be around to joke again..You always called me your brother saying we had a lot in common…Well, we all loved you very much but I believe GOD loves you more…RIP Chris of Science #OOU will miss you..#NASS will miss you..#Computer_Science will miss you…Till we meet again…”

Olasunkanmi Olanrewaju Daniel wrote, ” I slept, woke up still can’t get it off my mind.. Tears are uncontrollable. This scar will take years to heal. . jeez!!!. Chris is gone for real … A king is GONE.. A Friend is GONE. A Brother is GONE This is going to be my last post of you. I’ll rather u stay in my heart. Till we meet never to path ways no more.. But until then. . .Keep resting in the LORD’s Bosom my Good friend. Olasunkanmi Olanrewaju Daniel will forever be a friend of yours till eternity. Rest well my friend.”

Comr Oluwafemi Oyedola Phemzzy posted, “please tell me chris is not dead… a great comrade, always after the student success, never stop giving up on his duties. a great example to other comrades… i always remeber him saying Phemzzy I GO SHOCK YOU FOR THIS SCHOOL. but is this how you tend to shock me, is this the meaning of the SHOCK you do mention. i miss you alot Adefuwa Adebowale Christopher and will never forget you… My POWERFUL, RUGGED, DOGGED PRESIDENT.”
Enny Berry said, “Still shocked over ur death…wish death is somtin dat comes wit notice,Chris i nvr knew u wud say goodbye so soon ????…u were such a loving person …everyone loves u nd speak good of u.God..it shouldn’t hv been u(not wishing any other prsn dis either)my very own Chris dat calls me “my fake wife”…i remember d days of 100lvl u can force me to study math very well n ensure I pass it..u were actually a great impact to so many…still like am dreaming..av nvr been dis heartbroken abt someone’s death..can I ever forget u? ☹u nd I still entered same bike on thurs only for me to get dis shocking news,so disheartening dat someone so dearly is gone..well we can’t question God cos he sees n know it all..May God forgive all ur sins and I pray u make heaven. We love u but God loves u d most .

shock and tot of so much of your memories, you were the first guy dat approach me in cmp, so much memories abt you stroke my mind Wen I will report yomi to you and Larry, when we sleep together cos yomi is not around n u don’t want to leave me lonely, most times will cook and we together so sad I won’t see my Chris anymore. You leaving for the excursion you waved to me bye you were going I also waved bye bye to you, that we both see in skool together on Tuesday not dat I will see your corpse, it so painful Wen I heard you left this sinful world so early.
