Jamiu, whose father was a security guard in the house of his victim’s late father, told the police that it was an abduction that went wrong.
A police source quoted the ex-convict, who lived together with his security guard father, and his victim in Tanke area of Ilorin as saying, “We kidnapped him in his car and drove him into a forest at Oke-Olowo.
“But during an arguement i removed my mask and he saw my face and called my name. I had no option but to shoot him. I later sold his to one Alhaji for N280,000.”
Late Dr. AbdulRahman was until his death a medical officer with Hospital Management Bureau, and worked at Omu Aran General Hospital.
