About thirteen female students of Tappare-Ganye Community Islamic Centre in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State are feared to have contracted Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) from a randy male teacher, Mallam Alhassan Adamu(file image).
The shocking revelation was made known to pressmen by police spokesperson, DSP Othman Abubakar on Monday after a female student scheduled to wed on March 13, 2015 had a medical checkup, and was discovered to have HIV.
The female student whose name was withheld was said to have traced her ordeal to one of her teachers, Mallam Adamu who has forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
DSP Abubakar said the suspect is in police custody adding that investigation has revealed that he is a serial rapist, and womanizer and may have infected not less than twelve other female students of the school.
‘’We also heard that, but whoever had case should please come forward, for now only one case we are dealing with,’’ DSP Abubakar noted.
