Fifteen female members of Boko Haram have reported been killed in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State by their male counterparts for alleged witchcraft.
The killed female terrorists, according to Punchng, citing an unnamed military source, were a gang in the midst of the terrorists.
Ten of them were put to death at Mandara Hills on the grounds that they were witches while five others’ killings were based on accusation that they were in the process of turning themselves in to the military.
“The story you heard that they killed 20 women is not true; they killed 15, and they are their members; they killed them four days ago.
“10 of the women were killed by the insurgents after accusing them of witchcraft while five other women were killed for attempting to surrender to the military.
“The leader of Boko Haram in charge of Mandara Hills, Gwoza General Area and parts of Cameroon, Ali Ngulde, ordered their killing,” the publication quoted the source as saying.
