Tinubu likens APC to brand of pain killer sharing name with party

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed has likened the ruling party to a popular pain killer, which bears the same name with it (APC).

Tinubu made this analogy on Thursday at his Ikoyi residence where he received in audience the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Committee led by the Chairman, Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni, including the Secretary, Senator John James Akpan Udoedehe, and Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello.

The committee is on a mission to repair soured relationship among party men culminating in the sack of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole-led National Working Committee.

Addressing newsmen after a close-door meeting with his guests, Tinubu said the party is like APC tablet used in treating pain and headache and would deploy the components in the said drug to cure the party of its problems.

He said, “We lost one of our brothers, Isiaka Ajimobi. We discussed him, sent a very sincere condolences to the family and looked at our party, the APC, which is the cure for aches and pains.

“We’ll apply the ingredients of APC to what appears to be pains in our party so we can heal.

”Sincerely, we have trust and respect for the character of the chairman of the caretaker committee.

“We’re willing to support him to succeed for the party to continue its crusade of progressive governance in the country.”
