Father of one of the most decorated hip-hop artistes in Africa, Tuface, Michael Agbo Idibia, is dead.
The senior Idibia died yesterday from Prostate Cancer at an Abuja hospital where he was on admission.
About two months ago, his son made public his father’s health challenges at the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, (CECP), Cancer Charity Event in Lagos.
Announcing his death, the family, in a press statement issued Saturday night, said, “With sadness in our hearts, but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing on of our father, brother, uncle and in-law, Mr. Michael Agbo Idibia, a native of Okpokwu Edumoga in Benue State.
“He is survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Owoyi Idibia, children: Steven Idibia, Innocent ’2face’ Idibia, Hyacinth Idibia and Oche Idibia, grand-children, and siblings.”
The late Mr. Idibia’s burial arrangements will be announced soon, the family said.
