Hoodlums under the guise of EndSARs protest on Monday broke into the Benin Prison fondly referred to as White House on Sapele road, Benin and freed inmates.
Report said two persons suffered causalities in the prison breach, which took place in the morning.
The hoodlums went on rampage looting shops and the high-point was breaking into White House Prison through the fence and freeing some of the inmates after overpowering the prison officers in gun exchange.
Buildings neigbouring the prison including the High Court Four were not spared by the assailants who vandalized them.
