Two Lagos Bureau De Change Operators killed after being kidnapped   


Two bureau de change operators in Lagos, Yakubu Musa and Hassan Umaru, have been killed by cult members, who tricked them into their den under the guise of business transaction.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, who disclosed this, said late Musa and Umar plied their trade at Benson area in Ikorodu , and in the evening of March 14, 2019, some persons approached them on the grounds of selling the said sum to them.

Elkana explained that initially the agreement between the two parties was to transact the deal in a banking hall but somehow along the line, the impostors lured their victims into their den, abducted them and got N16m as ransom.

The abductors, namely Oluwatosin Olanrewaju, Mayowa Olawunmi and Babatunde Idris later killed the said bureau de change operators and dumped their remains in septic tank.

The suspects have been arrested and will soon be arraigned.
