A video of deceased Senator Buruji Kashamu asking lottery mogul, owner of Premier Lotto, aka Baba Ijebu, Chief Keshington Adebutu for forgiveness is trending.
Late Buruji before his death was brawling with Adebutu’s Premier Lotto and twenty-two other lottery firms alleging them in the court of infringing on his own Western Lotto’s licence on “Ghana Games.”
The deceased senator also accused his rivals of tax evasion, an allegation the House of Representatives launched investigation into.
Apart from business, Buruji was equally in dispute with Adebutu politically. The latter’s son, Ladi, and the deceased were together in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogun State where they championed different factions of the party.
In the clip trending, the senior Adebutu is seen on phone with Buruji with a lady beside the old man.
Going by the video, it is believed that the late Senator, who died of COVID-19 complications as of the period of the conversation had fallen on bad health and was thinking he was under a wicked spell cast by his adversaries.
They spoke in Yoruba with a bit of English with Buruji promising to support Ladi’s governorship ambition and never to join issue with the lottery mogul who was trying to extract commitment from him.
