The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, was nowhere near the Osun State Governorship election held on Saturday where the incumbent, candidate of his party, the All Progressive Congress, APC, Gboyega Oyetola was taken to the cleaner by that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ademola Adeleke.
His absence, according to his media adviser, Sola Fasure, was born out of an official assignment he went for abroad.
“He proceeded on an official assignment on Friday,” Fasure told Punnchng.
