Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-kayode, said some issues surrounding the killing of Ahmed Gulak in Owerri arouse some suspicions.
Gulak, an ex-presidential aide during the time of Goodluck Jonathan was murdered in cold blood in Imo State capital where he was in his capacity as a consultant for the National Assembly for the ongoing zonal constitutional review.
The deceased was on his way to airport to catch a flight.
Fani-Kayode in a Facebook post claimed he knew Gulak for ten years and was never in jeans or wore baseball cap saying his dressing suggested he was disguising. The former minister went on to call out the Imo State government, adding that while was he not provided with security.
The post in part: “Why did the Governor of Imo not provide security for Gulak? Why was Gulak dressed in jeans and a baseball cap as if he was in disguise? I knew Gulak for over ten years and I never saw him wearing jeans and a baseball cap.”
