The Zamfara State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Sani Kaura, died after delivering speech at a peace meeting.
The Nigeria Council of Ulamah, Zamfara state chapter, organised the meeting, a sensitization programme, on Wednesday.
Kaura, a father of six married to two women, was said to have attended the event hinged on peaceful conducts of politicians devoid of thuggery this election season at the invitation of the organiser.
Report said, the 62-year-old started feeling funny after delivering his speech and was rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The Secretary of the party, Faruku Ahmed Gusau, related circumstances surrounding Kaura’s death in a statement he released.
