An American couple, Glenn Scarpelli and his wife Patricia, at the weekend, committed suicide by jumping to death together from Manhattan office block because of their spiraling financial woes.
Multiple reports say Glenn(53) and Patricia(50) are survived by two children, Isabella, 20, and Joseph, 19, whom they lived together with.
They reportedly travelled uptown to commit suicide by jumping to death from a window of the ninth-floor office around 5:45am.
It was reported that the couple left behind suicide notes in a ziploc bag, wherein they detailed their financial problems.
Reports said that the deceased couple had a history of financial problems and had been pursued for dozens of outstanding tax liens by federal and city authorities since at least 1998.
