Akin Olowokere, assistant coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club, Ibadan, has died.
Olowokere was recently appointed as assistant gaffe of the Nigerian Premier league side with Edith Agoye as the Head Coach after the team management parted company with Gbenga Ogunbote-led coaching crew.
According to report, the deceased’s death occurred on Monday morning during the club’s training session.
He was said to have slumped in the course of the session and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Late Olowokere, an ex-footballer once played for Sunshine Stars of Akure before he took up coaching.
