Kazeem said FRSC’s attention was drawn to the plight of driver’s licence applicants whose details had been captured in its database and issued temporary licences but were yet to receive their permanent driving licences.

He said the dedicated numbers would enable FRSC stay on top of the issue, adding that following investigation it was discovered that most of the licences had been dispatched from the print farm and ready for collection at centres of actual capture

“While some do not actually check, some are told at the points that they are not ready and therefore resign to fate,” he added.

Kazeem advised that any applicant facing similar challenges should text his/her licence number to 08150654567 and 08058298826 to ascertain the status of the driver’s licence or at most, call the numbers.
