The rumour that Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM1, is having affairs with singer Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake has drawn the former’s dismissal.
The speculation stemmed from a photo of both together at an event and captioned it, “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” posted by Dami.
Reacting to the consequent dating rumour that followed on social media, the Fuji star’s son in a post on her Instagram page set the record straight saying, “Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs; they can do anything for traffic.
“And I am not a Media personality, I am a Legal practitioner, currently serving as SSA to Mr Gov… Address me well next time.”
Asake is not publicly known to be in any romantic relationship since his reported breakup with his Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2014.
In 2024, a fan had questioned Mystique about the split, writing, “Why did you break our national sweetheart’s heart? Our Asake.”
She replied, “Cuz he wanted to go let the devil use him.”
Another follower criticised her for walking away instead of protecting him.
Responding, she clarified, “Chill, he’s very much a man [of] God. The devil is just a trickster nonetheless.”
