The Public Education Officer of the Ogun State sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, a Chief Route Commander, is dead.
Okpe’s death was brought into public view via a statement released by the state Sector Commander, Akinwunmi Fasakin.
“The command received with heavy heart the sad news of the demise of CRC FN Okpe CRC from one of her family members. She reportedly died on 28 October 2025 in her hometown while still on annual leave,” the statement read partly.
Report said the deceased image maker had been bedridden for a while before succumbing to death on Tuesday in her hometown in Cross River State.
The narratives around her death said further that leading up to her demise, she was attending the traffic agency clinic in Ogun and subsequently was granted a medical leave, after which she travelled to her hometown in Cross River State, where she eventually passed away.
