Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable has accused his father of serial theft bordering on stealing his personal belongings and being a liability to him.
The Zazu crooner remarked this in a viral video where he claimed that he’s better off without the Senior Okikiola saying the latter abdicated his responsibility to him severally and likened him to late singer, Mohbad’s dad.
“My dad’s presence in my life is doing me more harm than good. My life was better and more stable when he wasn’t in the picture,” he said.
Before he added, “When I was younger, he didn’t take care of me. He did not send me to school. He did not pay for my tailoring apprenticeship fee.
“His presence is affecting my life negatively. He has taken all my shoes and clothes and he is just after my properties.”
Speaking further, “Anytime I have a police case, my Dad will never show up for me. What is your importance in my life? You didn’t send me to school. You are just like Baba Mohbad; you are always wearing my shoes and clothes. You can never inherit me. I will not allow you to do to me what they did to Mohbad.”
Portable also accused his father of defrauding him while supervising a house project for him saying, “When I wanted to build a house, and I told him to handle it, he was always cheating me. A block of N300,000, he will call it N900,000. Leave me alone and let me live my life. You scammed me.”
