An internet fraudster simply identified as Oghenegare, has killed his friend and partner-in-crime over a $1,000 transaction.
The victim named as Courage, according to report in circulation met his death at the hands of his friend on January 21 at Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Bright Edafe, in his own account, narrated that the duo were into the business of internet fraud but had issue over a transaction which made Oghenegare to confront Courage.
Edafe added that in the ensuing fight the suspect hit the victim on the head, resulting in the latter’s death.
The 28-year-old who has been taken into police custody said in a viral video that he attacked his victim for logging him out of the transaction that brought about the $1,000 heist.
