Widow of late former Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, Margaret Alamieyeseigha, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of killing her late husband.

Alamieyeseigha’s widow levelled this allegation in an interview at the memorial of his late husband’s death, which took place recently at Amassoma, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.
Her word: “Today, I will say categorically that PDP killed my husband. APC didn’t kill my husband; APC didn’t arrest my husband. It was PDP that arrested my husband; it was PDP that locked up my husband, killed him and seized everything that belongs to him.
“PDP humiliated him to death; tormented him to death. As far as I am concern, I was being humiliated by PDP, my husband died because of the humiliation he passed through in the hands of PDP.”
It would be recalled that Alamieyeseigha died of heart attack on October 10, 2015. Before his death, he was treated for diabetes and hypertension in United Arab Emirate.
