A veteran photojournalist, Malam Umar Usman Iyale, has been kidnapped in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Iyale was a retired staff member of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Kaduna Station, and prior to his time at AIT worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Kaduna.
On Monday he fell victim to bandits who abducted him at Danhonu II community in Millennium City, around 9 pm.
Report said his abduction took place at a time his family were yet to return home, adding that during the operation his abductors demanded money from him, which he was unable to provide.
That said, it was also gathered the victim is advanced in age and is contending with health issues.
