Founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, Pastor Chris Okafor has reported at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, for questioning.
Okafor is in the eye of the storm occasioned by multiple allegations bordering on rape, breach of marriage promise, multiple sex scandals and murder levelled against him.
Consequently the police extended invitation to him for investigation with report saying that the summon was in respect of the matter between the embattled pastor and actress Doris Ogala.
The alleged randy pastor however shunned the invitation initially but emerging report said he turned himself in to the police on Tuesday.
Police source said he was prevailed on to honour police invitation by some highly placed persons.
“Some highly placed persons warned him about the implications of not honouring police invitation. That’s why he presented himself at the SCID in Yaba for questioning.
“His statement was taken, but he was not detained since there is no complainant yet. We have made attempts to reach out to the victims, even offered them protection and transportation to and from, but no one showed up,” the source said.
