Ahead of the 2019 presidential race, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reportedly acquired his campaign office.
Atiku had rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, on account of not accorded the respect he deserved by the leadership of the ruling party in term of being carried along on matters relating to the party.
The former VP had not hidden his desire to give another shot at the presidency in 2019 after multiple ill-fated attempts.
To this effect, he has set the machinery in motion by getting a campaign office, a report by The Nation claimed.
The paper said the office is a five storey building, located on Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent at the intersection of Wuse and Maitama areas of the Federal Capital Territory.
It said Atiku’s campaign would come into full gear immediately after the ongoing Muslim fasting comes to an end, adding that his supporters are currently holding informal but high-powered meetings in Dubai and Saudi Arabia on how to actualize his ambition.
