Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that no one can threaten him, apparently over his choice of Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party as his preference in the forthcoming election.
Obasanjo has never hidden his support for Obi.
While speaking in Enugu on Monday after signing the condolence register for First Republic Minister of Aviation, Mbazulike Amaechi, the former President said he has gone through a lot in Nigeria that nobody can threaten him over his choice.
“I have shed my blood for this country. I have gone to prison for this country. So, what are you going to frighten or threaten me with? if I put my hand on someone, it means that comparing with the other, I see that there is merit that will be of benefit to Nigeria,” he said.
