Bala Muhammad, a septugenarian who made public several pictures he took with his exes in romantic positions has come under investigation.
Bauchi-based Muhammad posted on Facebook that over time he had slept with over 30 women.
The 76-year-old accompanied the disclosure with about 30 pictures of him together with some of those he had sex with.
The exposure sparked wide reactions on social media, with some commentators urging married men to be wary of the serial womaniser around their wives.
The Bauchi State Sharia Commission’s Hisbah police unit has stepped into the matter subjecting Muhammad to interrogation.
This followed complaints lodged with the Shariah police by those who felt defamed directly or remotely by the revelations.
The Bauchi Commander of Hisbah, Muhammad Muhammad Bununu, disclosed this at a press briefing.
“He was initially detained by the police, but we requested his transfer for further questioning. After our investigation on Thursday, he was returned to police custody,” Bununu stated.
The video of the moment Muhammad faced interrogation has gone viral.
The old Casanova who is unmarried in the clip is seen saying the pictures were taken over two decades ago when those women he shared bed with were single.
He also offered public apology.
