ABYEM Academy, Budo Osho, New GRA, Ilorin, was aglow with celebration as the school marked its second anniversary alongside its annual Christmas Carol. Parents, friends, families, and well-wishers converged on the school premises to share in the joyous occasion.
The event, which is the second edition since the school was established about three years ago, featured a vibrant lineup of musical performances, scripture readings, and drama presentations by the students.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the young performers showcased their talents.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman and Proprietor of the school, Mr. Abiodun Otepola, expressed profound appreciation to the management team, parents, and staff for their unwavering support and dedication, noting that their collective efforts had contributed significantly to the steady growth of the institution within its three years of existence.
This year’s celebration also included an empowerment gesture targeted at vulnerable members of the society as normally done by the Abyem helping hand foundation.Mr. Otepola explained that although the initiative was originally planned to extend to some neighbouring villages around Ilorin, prevailing security challenges in the country made wider outreach difficult.
