Veteran Nollywood actress, Binta Ayo Mogaji, has offered her advice to childless, single ladies in their 40s.
The 61-year-old actress, was in her forties when she had her only child with her boyfriend, Jibola Dabo, an actor too.
She recently announced the collapse of her 13-year-old marriage to retired footballer, Victor Ayodele Oduleye, over alleged abuse.
Speaking in an interview with Oyinmomo TV YouTube channel, Mogaji urged childless, single ladies in their forties to have babies with any man disposed to the idea.
“If you are 40 and unmarried, and you see a man that likes and can impregnate you, get pregnant.
“That is, if you desire to have a child and you can train the child, let nothing stop you,” she advised in Yoruba language.
Before she added: “Some ladies by 45 or 50 have become grannies.
“You are still waiting to get married. When will you get married? When will you give birth? When will you also become a grandmother in your lifetime?”
Continued: “Once it gets to that stage, I advise that if you find someone with whom you have mutual feelings and you agree on birthing a child, go ahead.”
