Raymond Ekwu, son of Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, died early morning of August 21, 2017, at age 15 after a battle with sickle cell anemia.

The deceased, who was the son of the actress cum evangelist’s ex-husband, Charles Ekwu, was her only child (mother and deceased child pictured together when she was ordained as pastor).
Eucharia’s marriage to Raymond’s father, which lasted nine years between 2000-2009 ended in a messy divorce that saw the actress slammed Charles with a N100 million lawsuit in 2010.
“My son has gone to our place of origin to be with our daddy Jesus, waiting for me when I eventually go there at the fullness of time,” the 52-year-old grieving actress was quoted as saying by The Net on phone over the death of her son.
