Adesuwa Ogiozee, a United States-based auto dealer, has been accused of fraudulent practice bordering on N297m fraud.
Ogiozee is the CEO of Adesuwa Autos.
Azubuike Chisom(not real name) levelled this allegation against her.
Reporting the claim, online news medium, FIJ, narrated that Chisom paid the said sum for the procurement of a new Mercedes G63 AMG (G-Wagon) to mark his birthday into Ogiozee’s account.
The publication wrote that Chisom was in his mid-30s and in the oil and gas business.
It said that the money was paid in tranches between October 3 and October 16, 2025 to Ogiozee, who operates on Instagram as ‘Renee5Star’.
However, five months after the payment and also months after the birthday celebration, Ogiozee has allegedly failed to keep her own side of the bargain and was said to be in the habit of making “excuses, contradictions and broken promises.”
“In 2025, I contacted Renee Adesuwa Ogiozee to purchase a brand new Mercedes G63 AMG from the United States to be shipped to Lagos,
“Between October 3 and October 16, 2025, I paid her N297,000,000 in tranches. The agreement was that the vehicle would arrive in Nigeria by December 2025, before my birthday on January 12, which was a historic milestone in my life,” it quoted the victim as saying, and added,
“I have known her for years. She is very popular on Instagram and constantly advertises luxury cars. Some of my friends have bought vehicles through her, too.
“In fact, in 2022, I personally purchased a car from her. That transaction was successful — the vehicle was bought, documentation processed, and it was shipped safely to Nigeria from the United States.
“So, relying on that previous experience, I transferred the N297,000,000 to her without thinking she would eventually scam me.
“She even acknowledged receipt of the full amount via WhatsApp and phone communication on October 16, 2025.”
