Afokoghene Ogidi, father of four-year-old baby, Elo whose whereabouts remain unknown after she went missing during a church service at the headquarters of the Christ Embassy in Oregun, Lagos, a programme she attended with her parents and siblings, has given an update on the sad incident.

Mr. Ogidi in an interview with Punch, said some suspected fraudsters have been inundating him with phone calls posing as kidnappers in possession of Elo and demanding ransom for her release.
“One of them(fraudsters) called and demanded N2.5m, telling me that if I did not provide the money within 24 hours, he would kill my daughter. He later called me back that day demanding N500,000 to feed my baby.
“When I got home, I didn’t call him back because I know a kidnapper will not ask for feeding upkeep,” the distraught father told the paper.
