The rumour that spread like wildfire claiming immediate family of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, tested positive for COVID-19 has drawn the reaction of the striker.
Social media rumour mill reported that Musa’s family members have been diagnosed with coronavirus, a claim the Al-Nassr winger disputed via a tweet and went on to warn the public to be wary of disinformation online.
He wrote: “Pls ignore any false news about me or ???????? ???????????????????????? testing positive to Covid 19.We are self isolating for 14 days as we just got in from Saudi Arabia as the law stipulates. Stay safe! Maintain social distance. AVOID FAKE NEWS!”
