Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, has shed light on the health situation of his principal after his involvement in a road crash.
The governor had a road accident on Sunday evening while returning to Katsina from Daura.
It’s believed he was coming from the late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s residence where report says he frequents since the demise of the deceased.
The news of Mallam Radda’s accident was broken on social media.
In a statement released by the governor’s CPS, it said the accident was minor and his condition was stable.
“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura – Katsina Road, while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained.
“As a precautionary measure, the Governor is currently receiving routine medical evaluation at a medical facility, where he is being attended to by qualified medical professionals.
“Governor Radda remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern,” the statement read.
