Wife of President Muhammad Buhari, Aisha’s revelation of her plan to establish a university and name it after her spouse, has drawn her and her family flaks from expected quarter, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The chief opposition party’s Deputy National Publicity, Mr Diran Odeyemi, in an interview with Punchng.com hit out at the plan and the first family adding that the Buharis corruptly enriched themselves but have been deceiving Nigerians into believing that their patriarch was so poor that he couldn’t afford procuring ordinary APC Presidential aspirant form.
According to Odeyemi, “Nigerians will remember that we raised the alarm about the deceitful tactics of Buhari and his immediate family who made us to feel they could not afford the money for a nomination form for his second term.
“Rather than engage in building a capital-intensive new university, why doesn’t the Federal Government improve on the dilapidated, failing and obsolete facilities of the existing great citadels of our ivory towers that are begging for upgrading and improvement?”
