Olumuyiwa, who is married to Titilayo Olayiwola with kids, following a tip off by a security guard at Dolland Estate in Akute, an Ogun outskirt where the couple lived until the incident, stormed their residence allegedly to meet Balogun and his wife in uncompromising position on March 17, 2019.
In the ensuing melee, the suspect, who parades himself as a music producer but according to Orijoreporter’s findings is an internet fraudster, aka Yahoo boy killed his wife alleged lover.
However, Olumuyiwa said Balogun’s killing was not premeditated saying he set out to video the lovers.
“I never had the intention of killing the man my wife was committing adultery with. All I wanted to do was to catch them red-handed and make a video of it, which I intended to send to my wife’s family.
“I did not have any intention to fight. It was the guy that attacked me and during the tussle, I mistakenly pushed him and he hit his head against the wall,” he told Punchng.com.
