The Anambra state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has promised civil servants in the state their 2016 annual leave allowance and free Christmas rice.

Gov. Obiano made the promise on Sunday at Holy Trinity Parish, Awada, Onitsha where he also disclosed that civil servants in the state will next year be promoted en masse.
His word, “All the workers will receive their leave allowances as well as a bag of rice each for the Christmas…Anambra will remain first in promoting the welfare of her citizens. Our stimulus package was aimed at ameliorating the sufferings of indigent people, especially in the present economic recession.”
