The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied report that its governors were aggrieved with President Muhammadu Buhari and on the grounds of the claim, absented themselves from Thursday’s meeting of the party Presidential Campaign Council held at the State House in Abuja.

Refuting the claim, which was fuelled by the governors’ absence at the function, APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole said, “They (governors) are governing their states.

“Don’t forget that elections are not defined in Abuja; it will take place in the 36 states and I am sure there are APC members who are campaigning for the House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate constituencies, governorship constituencies.

“So, it will not be helpful to bring them to Abuja. Here, it is about policies, it will be consummated and translated to practice across the 36 states, 774 local government areas and awards.”
