The seeming rift between Governor Uba Sani and ex-governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has consumed the Women Leader in the Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Maryam Suleiman.

Symptoms of crack in the relationship between Sani and El-Rufai emerged after the governor in public accused his predecessor of throwing the state into huge debt.

This, was followed by the ex-governor’s son, Bashir’s condemnatory remark against the incumbent.

In a similar vein, the APC women leader in a viral video of her in which she speaks in Hausa language accused Gov. Sani of mismanaging the affairs of the state, urging him not to shift blame and let El-Rufai be.

This ostensibly provoked a suspension handed down on Maryam by APC, Kaduna Chapter

However, the latter in a notice it served, attributed her suspension to allegation that she had hands in purported attack on the political adviser to the governor, Manzo Maigari, said to have been perpetrated by thugs.

The party added the Women Leader’s suspension would remain indefinite pending a thorough investigation into the allegations.
