A lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, Ayatu Momoh has died during a community meeting.
Momoh’s death occurred on Sunday evening.
The deceased, a lecturer in the Mass Communication department of the institution was from Kogi State. He was said to be the secretary of Igala Local Community in Offa and met his end during a meeting of the community when he slumped and efforts to revive him even at the hospital he was rushed to were abortive.
A facebook user, Jimoh Taofik Adekunle in a tribute on the social media wrote: “Today, Department of Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic Offa lost Mr. Momoh Ayatu to the cold hands of death. Innalillahi wainna ilayhi roojihun May Allah accept his return into Al-jannah ”
