Yoruba actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, known as Baba Ijesha, who is detained for allegedly assaulting a minor sexually has been granted bail.
Lawyer to the embattled thespian, Adeshina Ogunlana who made this known said Baba Ijesha was granted bail on health grounds.
Ogunlana however, said Baba Ijesha was still in detention as the bail was yet to be perfected.
According to him, “He has been granted bail but are working on perfecting the bail conditions. He was granted bail on health grounds. He has not been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been perfected.”
The condition of the bail includes, two reliable sureties, one of who must be a level-10 civil servant, a direct blood relation to the accused and N500,000 bond.
