The mother of late Miguel Ovoke, the four-year-old pupil of BrickHall School, Abuja, has alleged plot to distort the cause of the baby boy’s death.
Miguel died in the school’s care on April 24, 2024, with report saying that subsequent to the health crisis that culminated in his death he was being fed by one of the class assistants.
On Monday, the bereaved mother attired in all-black clothes and bearing a cardboard with the inscription, ‘We Need Justice For Miguel, BrickHall School Kill Miguel,’ stormed the school premises.
In the viral video of the lone protest, the lady accused the school authorities of trying to lie about the cause of Miguel’s death.
She was also seen in it pointing accusing fingers at some teachers.
Some of his words, “18 students for one class where I dey pay N350,000.”
“See the head teacher.”
“See who lie for doctor say my pikin dey for hospital, na this man lie for doctor ooo. Doctor say my pikin no die for hospital. Na who carry my pikin dead body go hospital.”
A police officer who was seen in one of the videos asked her, “If your matter is in CID, why are you here?”
