Bandits killed seven worshippers in the course of observing of prayers in a Kaduna mosque on Friday.
The gunmen stormed a mosque at Saya-Saya Village in Ikara Local Government Area of the State and left seven persons died at the end of their operation.
It happened while the victims were observing the Isha’i prayer(sunset prayer).
The victims’ identities as at the time of this publication were sketchy.
However, one was said to be the leader of the vigilante group in the area.
He is believed to be the prime target of the gunmen, with report saying they traced him to the mosque.
Another, according to report in general circulation was a driver, said to have conveyed food items to the village.
