Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky said his claim of being arrested by Immigration authorities was an “April Fool thing.”
April 1 every year is a day for playing pranks, and known as April Fools’ Day.
“Guys, have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o,” Bobrisky posted on social media on that day.
The fact that it is his nature to run into trouble with law enforcement agencies gave the claim believability as many people and news media amplified it.
The update is that Bobrisky has refuted himself saying he was just in April Fools’ Day mood.
