As at Monday morning, well-wishers raised N10.5m for veteran actor and broadcaster Sadiq Daba who is battling leukemia and prostate cancer.

Daba’s colleagues are seeking financial help for him, to be able to fly him to United Kingdom for further medical treatment
One of the ailing artiste’s colleagues coordinating the fund raising, ace broadcaster, Soni Irabor, announced the N10.5m contribution on his Instagram wherein he revealed that Daba would be flown abroad soon.
He wrote: “It’s time to say thanks to you all; Sadiq Daba is set to move out to the UK where he will start treatment.
“While we say thanks, we say please let’s not be stuck midway with this, we still need more from you.
“The account is still up and we look forward to receiving from you. God bless you.”
